At Ronald McDonald House, we’re honoured to have been a home-away-from-home, and we hope to bring a sense of comfort during a challenging time in every family’s journey. We want to continue providing this care to many more families – and you can help make that possible.
As a community supported organisation, we rely on the generous support of our wonderful community, enabling us to provide the warm bed that a family slept in, resting their minds after a busy day at the hospital or attending appointments, a comfortable space for a family to watch a movie together, or the fully equipped kitchen where families can make their favourite meals to make the place feel a little more like home.
Some families turn their RMHC journey into a fundraiser, and it’s one of the most powerful ways to give.
Families in the past have created fundraisers such as physical challenges or hosting events. There are so many ways you can fundraise for Ronald McDonald House and the most successful are the ones that work best for you and your family.
Do you like to do something physical like run, cycle or swim? Then a simple fundraiser might be the way to go!
It’s easy to start – just register on our DIY Fundraising Page to get your own shareable fundraising page, plus social tiles, posters, and more.
Do you love bringing people together or part of a community group like a school, Rotary or local Sporting Club? Then perhaps you can host a Trivia Night, fancy Luncheon, or even run a Bunnings BBQ in your local community! We’d love to help you run a Community Event.
Community Events are events that are run by you, your club, or school within your local community
There are a few more details required to run a Community Event, and we have a dedicated team to help you bring your event to life. If you are interested in brining your community together to support the important work of Ronald McDonald House, please contact us as [email protected] and one of our team members will contact you.
Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can always access the care they need. And with your help, we can support them all throughout their journey.
